It is quite nice when we have a lot of ideas to write. Million of words can represent our mind in any kind of pictures, situations, characters, times, and places. This is what has been done by the Cikal students of Year 3 in delivering their knowledge, imagination and communication skills through out writing practices. They are young learners who have so many words to say and to express their feelings, thought, opinions, and ideas which need to be presented not only through the oral language but also in written.

In order to cultivate their competence in writing skills, students of Year 3 are trying to present their ability in writing fiction and non-fiction with their own choice theme. The writing that they work on focuses on their understanding of informational texts, narrative text, and poetry through practice grammar, original ideas or remakes, focus on the theme of the story with the plot, based on facts and fantasy elements with their structures, and the attractiveness of the language used. They are compiled into one collection of this virtual gallery as the vessel to put their ideas, feelings, and knowledge independently.

Through this gallery, I would like to say proud and thrill about their writing works. It is such a great presentation of their own achievement in learning how to write in organization structures. This is also their learning practice to start to experience in communicating their message to the audience in kinds of writing style. Lastly, let us all enjoy this virtual gallery and congratulations students for your remarkable writing works.

The process of writing these works took over the course of 4 to 5 months. Of course, we started our journey of literature through introduction of fiction and nonfiction works and started our way down deeper into it. The students went through the process of drafting - feedback - revising - editing - and publishing their final written work, what a feat!

These students have shown effort, persistence, and enthusiasm in exploring their creativity through imagination - one word at a time. So please, read with care and do leave some comments.

We would also like to thank parents and guardians of Year 3 students who have supported these students throughout this process. Thank you parents and guardians!

As the teacher, I am proud of my students. I have a great experience to accompany them to express their creativity. Students discuss some topics related language. They understands how language can deliver their feeling, opinions and hope.
This kinds of writing is quite challenging for them. They show their inquiry in the process of writing. They decide the purpose, the topic and the product of their writing. They identify the purpose of fiction and non-fiction writing through this projects. They understands the language has different way to express any feeling, opinions and hope.
I hope this process of learning will help the students to develop their writing skills and make them love to explore any skills in language. I enjoy our learning journey. I hope we have many opportunities to explore next learning journey.

There is no better words for me to explain how proud I am other than saying, "Hey guys, you are doing excellent! I am so proud of you!" How could I not?
In this year, year 3 students learn a lot about Indonesian Literature. In the first semester, we dig deep about biography and fantasy story. You know what's cool? Their projects are full of creativity be they biography and fantasy story! Some of them created biography of their inspirational figures. Some of them also created an unpredictable ending of a fantasy story. Imagination is on its play!

In the second semester, we dig deeper about musical poetry. They learn how to express their feelings by writing poetry. Not only poetry that shows happiness but also sadness, gratitude, and love.
Please go check their artwork and leave some comments about theirs.
